Four of Cups is a test of patience.. and an exercise in finding gratitude- even in the in-between times, when we don’t quite have what we want yet. We might feel annoyed. And maybe a bit irritable.

Sometimes we are so emotionally invested in a situation that we can’t quite see the forest for the trees. This keeps us mired in feelings of “stuckness,” impatience, or dissatisfaction.

4 of Cups reminds us to not get consumed by our wants and desires. Sometimes the Universe has just the perfect plan or solution waiting in the wings.

Do you feel yourself frustrated with the in-between feeling, like you’re stuck in limbo? You’re not alone! Keep in mind that we are literally living in the “in-between” of TWO eclipses this month.

We’ve stepped into this liminal space where the last week’s solar eclipse might have given us an “a-ha” moment, but we’re not quite able to move forward with it yet. The lunar eclipse on August 28th should help tie up some loose ends and reveal next steps.

So try not to fret in the meantime, and know that even those feelings of discomfort serve a purpose. It might be just the motivation that’s needed to make changes in a no-more-bullshit kind of way. Eclipses have a way of kicking our ass sometimes, so that we FINALLY do what we gotta do to course correct.
