In a rare sequential progression from last week, the 6 of Cups arrives on the cusp of a number of celestial events, including a Total Solar Eclipse happening tomorrow, August 12th.

It is a time of regeneration and alignment. August has been calling us to this place of authenticity.. of real, raw surrender to who we really are, and are called to be.

Portals are opening and closing, but what does that really mean? Ultimately, it means that we’re being handed an opportunity, but we need to be willing to meet the universe halfway.. or all the way! Activations don’t just happen; we need to take the actual steps and be willing participants on this next phase of the journey.

It means enacting change for ourselves, for our future, on a deep soul level... by reaching for a higher frequency. A frequency that we can’t necessarily see or touch in the physical sense, but that our soul recognizes and longs for.

6 of Cups is ultimately about remembering & recovering our sense of Self, no matter what we have experienced in the past. This month I’ve been reminding myself that “it is all a blessing,” and maybe that can serve you as well. Discovering who we are and the many different versions of who we were, and what shaped us—that is the gift of the 6 of Cups.

It is worth noting too, that this 6 of Cups is coinciding with a rare six-planet alignment and the Perseid meteor shower, all peaking on the 12th (tomorrow). So if that is not a sign from the Universe, I don’t know what is! Remember, it is all a blessing.
