Tarot Tuesday ~ The Chariot

Momentum is building, and things are moving forward! The energy that had been ever-so-slowly releasing throughout March, is picking up some steam now. The Chariot is a card of steady, controlled action and being ready for a challenge. This week you may see a clearer direction opening ahead.. though it’s more about immediacy— the very next steps, what is right before you—rather than a long-term plan or vision. But that’s ok, because the Chariot is the launch point: the unleashing of energy, the fearless drive & ambitious awareness that, at a minimum, THESE NEXT STEPS are within reach.

The first eclipse season of the year is over, and Mercury is now in its shadow phase, having gone direct yesterday. Venus will soon follow—this Saturday April 12th—the same day as the Full Moon in Libra. So the energy is definitely lifting and shifting.

Yet despite the reins being loosened a bit more this week, there is still a great deal of tension, restriction, and hesitation in the air. Obstacles & restraints exist, so you’ll need to make some judgment calls on how long to hold back, and when to let loose & go for it. You may even find yourself pulled in different directions. Stay steady!

This Major Arcana card really urges us to courageously TRUST (in divine guidance as well as your own instincts). And beyond that, it calls us to push forward. There may be battles ahead, but you’ve come too far to turn back now. Be true to you and faithfully follow where you know you are being led!
