The 6 of Pentacles urges us to seek fairness & balance, taking stock and assessing where things are at in our lives on a practical level. This week, focus on resources & earthly matters: finances, supplies, home, health, & safety—this is the “stuff” of Pentacles.

It’s all about choice right now. Make wise choices in where you are expending resources—and strive to create more comfort & security where needed. This could be budget-related: cutting or reducing expenses, but also do not neglect your basic needs or the needs of others.

Creating a more equitable environment around you could be part of the goal—which might mean helping family, friends, & neighbors, while also recognizing where others need to pitch in to help you feel supported as well. Think sharing, helping, exchanging, bartering, donating, and yes-- sometimes asking for help.

On a larger scale, there’s an undeniable call to action that is asking us to discern the the takers from the givers. Who has been withholding resources? Who has denied equity or security to others? This could be at one’s job, or corporations one supports, and certainly the wider political stage, no doubt.

This is a moment to hone in on what matters most to you, and then zoom out to see the barriers & obstacles at play that are tipping the scales.

6 of Pentacles reminds us of the choices we do have, which might be more than initially realized. We just have to dig deep and make some practical changes, which usually starts at home.
